Unicorn Forest at Airmid - by Lynnestra Parker, Doc Nolan, Photos and AI by Doc Nolan

NOTE: Xenon here - I always struggle with where to put regions. I wanted to highlight this one for a number of reasons. First...I am THRILLED a resident is sharing their own region! YAY! Second...Doc has made some amazing images, and they deserve to be on the front page! Enjoy!

Lynnestra Parker: When I first arrived at AMV I was asked: "What do your fantasies look like?". This got me thinking. I love nature and I am a big fan of unicorns, sooo I made a unicorn forest on Armid.

The good thing about a unicorn forest is the weather is always a perfect spring day. The fairies are always friendly and the unicorns make sure the forest animals do no harm as visitors explore the many areas; some areas are hidden.

People can play Uno or Greedy right in the middle of the forest. You may also enjoy riding a unicorn around or sharing a ride on a horse with a friend.

The fresh air lifts your spirits as you discover places to dance, relax and share time with friends or loved ones.

For the magick users among us, there is a scying area and a magick circle. Invite your friends to dance around the fire.

Please feel free to visit Unicorn Forest @ Airmid day or night. Enjoy the forest and all it has to offer.

From Doc Nolan:

Lynnestra Parker built a forest to house her unicorns, but as a fan of nature SHE invited in a raft of other critters: songbirds, butterflies, horses, falcons, elk, squirrels, and ferrets....  And then a few garden gnomes discovered Unicorn Forest.  (Human avatars arrived later!).

The horses here can be ridden, but the falcon refuses to carry avatars around.  "You can fly, so why should I lug you around?"  Airmid is a curious place.  It never rains and everything stays green.  The flowers never shrivel up and die. And the animals never try to eat your avatar.  (I imagine they're pixeltarians and only eat binary code from time to time, but only Cliff and Cat know for sure.)

Yes, this is a magick place. And if you know how you can use Phototools to dance around bonfires in the dark even if it's midday. Yep.  More magic.  One thing however: never mess with the unicorns.  They, unlike rhinocerii, might run away if molested.

Everyone's welcome at Unicorn Forest.  Just be sure to bring you sense of wonder along and if you sit and spend some time amid the florabundi and frangipangi, not to mention the daisies and dahlias.

Here are two glorious AI images derived from two of the Unicorn Forest photo by Doc Nolan, done in MidJourney.
